Salome Ede Oriebor is 75 years old and lives at the Mile four leprosy settlement in Abakiliki, Ebonyi state. Like many persons who had leprosy and were cured, she was able to go back to her community, but later decided to return to the leprosy settlement where she feels more at home with other persons affected by leprosy. Salome depends on the goodwill and charity of individuals and organisations like RedAid Nigeria for her livelihood.

RedAid Nigeria, in collaboration with DAHW German Leprosy and Tuberculosis Relief Association support elderly persons like Salome.

15,000 Naira / 37 Euros pay for their basic needs for one month.
